Don't get to excited this isn't a SATC movie update just yet. Sorry to burst your bubble but i thought I'd share something with you. Last night I was watching the episode of Sex and the City where Carrie meets Jon Bon Jovi in therapy. While my girlfriends and I were sweating over Mr. New Jersey himself, I realized I was paying an odd amount of attention to Carrie’s wardrobe. While Carrie is known for dressing like an absolute outcast sometimes, for whatever reason, last night I was particularly drawn. Carrie’s outfits never cease to amaze me, I LOVE THEM! “How could i pull that off?…” from an entire room of girlfriends. In last night’s episode, Carrie was wearing bright yellow denim shorts that went far above her belly button and a blue bra, and that’s all. To a lunch date with Mr. Jovi, talk about daring, SJP's character Carrie is one bold female in style. Anyways, as much as a shock as it might be to some, that style is exactly what I yearn for. Although it’s hard to tell where Carrie Bradshaw’s style stops. SJP proves the rules are indeed meant to be broken.
