M: Where are you from Mollie?

Mollie: I am from Lawrence, Kansas. I was born and raised in Lawrence and lived there until I moved away to college. I went to the University of Delaware and also the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. It’s so funny because people are always surprised when they find out I’m from Kansas!

M:What are your hobbies?

Mollie:I love spending time with my family and friends. I have the most adorable Yorkie dog named Lucy and she is definitely one of my biggest hobbies. You’d be surprised all the commotion we cause at the Lancôme counters when she comes to the stores with me. She gets so much attention! I love to travel as well and eating out at all the great restaurants in NYC is another one of my favorite things to do.


M: How did you get into the makeup industry?

Mollie:I studied fashion in college and my first job was in the fashion industry. I love working in the beauty industry, so many of our collections are heavily inspired by fashion and what’s happening on the runway.

M: I see that you worked with Lancôme for over two years, how do you like working for Lancôme?

Mollie:I love working for Lancôme! Lancôme is such a fascinating, luxurious brand. From the fragrances and skincare products to the makeup, Lancôme truly has the best quality of products with the best results.

M: What aspects of your job do you love the most?

Mollie:I love working so closely with the actual products. Understanding and developing all the new formulas and shades is so fascinating and very rewarding as well.

M: What is the best makeup trend today?

Mollie: I would have to go with the new vibrating technology on mascaras! Oscillation, our newest mascara is my favorite!

M: I see that Lancôme Juicy Tubes Chic Delights are flavor lip glosses, what is you favorite flavor?

Mollie: French Vanilla is my favorite shade. It’s a light cream color and it’s perfect when you just want a little shimmer on your lips.

M: What celebrity has the best look today?

Mollie:I think Jennifer Aniston has a great look. I swear, as she gets older she just keeps looking better and better. She is fantastic!
