How you can stay healthy during this recession.
With so many issues going on in the world, news, at work, school and in our personal lives it's very important that we remember taking care of us! We all need to keep focus on being happy when things are going down so we can send out those positive energies to others that are feeling blue.
With a bit of a tease from mother nature this week we have to remember key factors that will help us have a balance life throughout our day. Here are a few that we may have heard numerous times but now is the time for action!
Get enough sleep (at least 8-9 hours a night)
Eat a healthy diet that includes at least 5-7 servings of fruits and vegetables daily
Take a multivitamin with folic acid and get at least 1300 mg of calcium daily
Exercise for at least 30 minutes most days of the week
Avoid smoking
Learn to manage stress
Take time every day to do something you enjoy! (Read, paint/draw, dance, cook, talk to a friend, etc.)
These basic tips is a start to building a new and better you!
