When New York Fashion Week comes to Lincoln Center the attendees make sure their personal style is front and center. Below are a few key trends that were spotted. Plus check back Friday for exclusive interviews with Street Stylers from Fashion Week and Nolcha Fashion Week.
Chunky Lace Up
This style was super over kill on women during fashion week. The edgy look makes it easy to wear with trendy styles like pleated skirts, leather outfits and of course leggings. Look for styles that are more feminine and less gawdy to make it transitional with sophisticated styles.
INGERSOLL $150 style gives you that transitional option.
Maxi Skirt
I’ve seen this style in every shade so far at the fashion shows. Women must really love the look since so many have shown up with it. The best way to make this style work is to add the chicness to it. Make it glam and less about the sheer and shortness.
Shorty Got Low Burgundy Maxi Skirt $41 we love because the color is safe and it’s easy to add just a touch of glitz to the mix.
Stripes
This look was another major factor at the fashion shows, women rocked the style with their basic black platform heels but with but no additional pop.
Signature Schulz Striped Beige Dress $43 adds more of a statement with a red belt. Make it rock by adding pop in your shows, makeup or handbag to be more of a trendsetter.
Studded Shoes
The rise of studded shoes were clicking all over and the highest style was in a t-strap. It’s not just a look for the 9-5 but it also can be incorporated with your basic looks as well.
Lexington $144.99 is more daring but it’s the perfect style for a dress or your favorite skinny jeans.
Blue Dresses
Normally you see LBD’s everywhere at Fashion Week, since some ladies are afraid of color. But blue was the new black and the ladies represented with achieving this “IT” color.
Skater Dress In Flocked Rose Print With Belt $43.12 is fun and flirty and great to add in your fall wardrobe.
What trend/s will you be adding to your wardrobe?
