Hairstylist Ted Gibson created the hair look for Lela Rose Fall 2014 Show and the look was very elegant. "Twist and Shout" was the term that inspired Ted, the style is an updated bun with a creative twist. The look can be glammed up with flirty hair accessories to make it picture perfect.
Check out my interview with Ted Gibson talking about creating this look, hair accessory trends and the key tip you need to do while at the hair salon.
Get The Look
1. Blowout hair with center part
2. Curl hair and finger tease to create texture
3. Twist hair back on both sides starting at the top of the part
4. Tightly marry the two side twists into one twist centered in the nape
5. Tuck twist under and pin into bun shape
6. Accessorize bun with pearl pin
7. Pull out loose hairs on each side to create wisps
8. Finish with hairspray

I love this look. The thing with some of these styles is you almost have to have someone helping you do your hair so that you can get it just right. But I honestly think this is something I could do on my own. I love that it isn't all precise with straight edges. you can afford to have the twists a little on the messy side and still get away with it. The 'twist and shout'....lol. I love it!
