When it comes to detangling our hair it can be a hard job for us women. It’s a process and much time is needed with of course patience. I heard about the brand Michel Mercier so I was interested in trying the brand because they also have products for pets since I am a mom to four furry animals!
My first steps in trying the brand was for my dogs because it’s been hard finding a delicate brush for their detangle needs. For me the product (Green Brush/Fine Normal) $14.95 works great on them, it’s super easy to detangle and they seem to enjoy being brushed.
I received the green shade which is considered to be normal hair. (Not sure what that means but ok) It wasn’t the best for my hair needs so I am thinking that the blue which is meant for thick hair would have been better suited me. It was just too much hair coming out and that was just on dry hair. I would have to give the brand a try again with the blue shade to have a more accurate feel for it.
Check out the video feature of how it worked on my hair as well as our family dog!

I have always found it hard to find a brush that worked well for me - I wonder how the brush for thicker hair would go!
Finding a proper brush to take care of your hair is super important for both humans and doggies (hehe). Your brush looks nice, I want to try it too
Gosh my daughter could definitely do with one of these, her hair gets so tatty. Will have to buy one because this looks amazing!
The brush looks so beautiful. My wife will definitely love this.
I can relate to hair loss during detangling. At a point, I got angry and chop my hair off. I'm back and still struggling to find that neglect brush. I'll be trying out Michel Mercier Detangkinh Brush.

Sometimes getting the best brush for your type of hair can be a challenging task. Thanks for sharing these tips. I hope people will learn from them.
As someone with long hair, and a lot of it, I could definitely do with one of these! Especially when I am travelling LOL x
I have pretty straight hair, but I can appreciate how hard it could be to regularly de-tangle curly hair. This looks like a great hair styling essential.
I have a long haired chihuahua and for such a little guy, he has more hair than I do! I need this brush; thank you for sharing your review!
I have 5 fur babies and we a brush like this becasue it is important for me that they well groomed each day.
Such a nice product especially for the ladies nowadays that keeps styling their hair and ended up making a mess. Everybody should have this amazing ingenuity at home.
So I've seen this brush for a while but always talked myself out of buying it. It's a frivolous purchase, but I'm frivolous occasionally. I got it this afternoon and I don't hate it. It seems like a cheap construction - all plastic, lightweight (like, no weight), and it feels like one good drop on a hard floor would kill it. That being said, it does detangle rather easily.
I have fine, blonde hair and often spend the better part of my morning trying to unsnarl the knots before I get on with my day (even if I braid my hair before bed, it still knots up). My normal brush (the Conair version of the Wet Brush) pulls and rips and possibly does more harm than good. A lot of hair ends up in that brush - I clean it every week, it seems.
Though I've only used the Michael Mercer brush on dry hair so far, it feels like an improvement already. I'm not sure how, but the varying height in bristles (also plastic) does appear to not pull or rip my hair nearly as much. It does still pull some (I think with any brush, that would be hard to avoid entirely) and I do still find hair in the brush, but it's not the amount as with my normal brush. After one afternoon with it, it feels gentler on my hair and scalp than normal.
UPDATE: This is not a brush for wet hair. I've attempted to use it twice after a shower and always end up reaching for my normal brush because this one is not very well suited for wet hair - even fine wet hair. This is not a brush for styling. My job requires me to put my hair back all day and it's difficult to even get it into a ponytail with this brush. That being said, as a brush that advertises itself as a detangler, it works very well. That's why I still give it 4/5 stars - it does exactly what it said it should. It detangles fine hair with very little difficulty. However, if you're looking for the end-all-be-all of brushes, this is not the brush for you.
I've not heard fo this brush before. Anything that helps with tangles is great.
My hair is long and thick, but I surprisingly don't get a lot of tangles! I can imagine this would be a really great tool for someone that had tangly hair!
I have a long, thick and wavy hair. This sounds a really awesome product that I can try!
Those brushes look really nice,I would like to try them to see if they work on my cats.
