Emmy's - My Top Best Dressed

The stars were out on the red carpet at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, as the 2008 Prime time Emmy Awards were underway. The Emmy's brought us elegance and class and bit of comedy. I definitely enjoyed it, something to bring us back from the MTV awards.
Among those in the crowd were many Movie stars,TV stars, and singing sensations and Five yes FIVE TV hosts. It was one of television’s biggest nights of the year.

Best Dressed was a close call between Brooke Shields and Julia Louis Dreyfus, but Brooke's fuchsia Badgley Mischka Resort 2009 gown, with its ruffled detail on the skirt, was beautiful and she let her dress do all the talking, by keeping the accessories to a minimum. This is not an easy dress to pull off, but Brooke did with such style and grace.

Heidi Klum

My most favorite and glamorous outfit of the night. Wearing a sexy silver beaded floor-length gown teamed with a pair of matching strappy heels.

I give her the Best Cocktail Dress award. There were a lot of gowns and dresses that fell just below the knee last night, but Padma Lakshmi looked good in a gold Monique Lhuillier Spring 2009 knee-lenght dress. The dress spoke for itself and stood out, it had a nice draping back, and gold beaded detail. Accessorizing to the T she kept the gold theme going, but wearing gold strappy sandals and a gold clutch.

Let me start off saying I LOVE this Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2008 dress. It's very elegant on Jennifer Love Hewitt. Although the hairstyle was a bit off. This is the kind of hairstyle I would sport to go to the gym.

Eva Longoria always shines on the red carpet, and loved loved her hairstyle. I like this Marchesa Spring 2009 flapper-style dress. I like that she went for a cocktail looking dress also, and the color is icy blue and when I saw the large detail bow I said wow!

Vanessa Williams wins for Best Floral Trend. Apparently this was a custom made gown from Kevan Hall. The jeweled detail on the strap of her dress, compliments her diamond bracelet and 3-drop earrings.

Sandra Oh managed to incorporate a trend into her look - lace. Her black Oscar de la Renta Resort 2009 gown, had a lace detail all over, and a sash at the waist. Her hair was swept to the side with loose curls. She accessorized with jewels, a vintage Chanel purse, and Chanel heels.
