GlitterBuzzStyle Beauty: Hair cleansing tips

I recently have discovered, through trial and error and a lot of bad hair days, a really frugal ways to cleanse hair of build-up, hard water and well water residue, chlorine, and any other yucky chemicals that might make light hair look dingy. This works especially for blondes, because blonde hair absorbs EVERYTHING. Two packets of lemonade mix (any brand will do, I use Kool-Aid), and your favorite cleansing shampoo - mix a very small amount of water into the lemonade powder, so that its a thick paste. Mix it into your cleansing shampoo, and apply to wet hair. Leave on for about 20 minutes. (the solution stings a bit, so you may want to put a shower cap on, or put some cotton around your hairline to catch any dripping). Rinse, and condition. If your hair is dulled by chemicals, build-up, chlorine, and even rust (which is a bitch to get out of blonde hair) you will notice an instant difference. My hair went from orange back to light blonde in just one application. So for anyone out there that has light hair that seems to turn dull and dingy, try this homemade cleansing remedy, it works beautifully, and you save a fortune on expensive salon treatments!
