Questions from our fabulous readers!
Rebecca 24, Miami Flordia asked: I have decided to leave college in my Junior year because I recently was signed to an underground record label. My parents are furious since I'm not going to become a lawyer like I had planned. Music is my dream and I really want to do this for me. Am I making the right choice or should I finished and try music after I'm done??? Love this site and the women's issues section keep it up ladies!!

: That is a really big decision, and ultimately, only you have the wisdom and insight to make the decision. The difficult thing about choices such as these is, there is no right or wrong answer. While some may view pursuing law school as being more practical, others would tell you to follow your dreams and your passions. The one thing that you have going for you is that you have already been signed to an underground label (very, VERY cool, that's actually a dream of MINE). However, there are no promises inside a career as a musician, and it may be a tough course. Being a lawyer may be more secure and reliable as a source of income and as a stable career. Pleasing your parents should not enter into the equation. You are an adult, and it is your career choice, your decision, and your life to live. Many of us have displeased our parents by following our dreams instead of what they have in mind for us, but what they may disapprove of at first, may turn around when you put your first record into their hands. Also, no matter which choice you make for the time being, there is no reason you can't pursue the other one at a later time. You can always go to law school after a couple years of following your passion, there is no rule in the universe that prohibits any of us from being ALL that we can be, and not just one or the other. And let me just say, I wish I had your problem! Choosing an independent record label or law school is a choice I think many women out there would envy. Whatever you choose, Rebecca, remember it isn't wrong, nor is it right. It is simply the choice you have made, and you will simply have to find out where it takes you. That's the joy of living life!

I'm having a dinner guest over my house (new guy). I offered to cook dinner next Friday night! But Im not a cook, what's easy to whip up so he doesn't know I can't cook!!
I'm thinking about having my mom cook something and pretending it's me. I know I'm lying already
I just found out i'm pregnant and my boyfriend is now my ex. I'm not sure if I should keep the baby. Do you think he will get back with me if I do or not.
