Online dating has its advantages and disadvantages, like everything else. One of the advantages is that often people get know one another better and more in-depth than they would in person, because chatting online removes a lot of that nervousness and awkwardness that can come with one-on-one conversations, especially with men you are just getting to know. People also tend to be more personal and more willing to talk about what is really going on their lives, and no one has to worry about physically doing anything to impress the other. However, keep in mind that there still are guys out there that use online dating for sinister intentions. Just be wary, and don't automatically believe what you are told about someone - just as easy as it is to be sincere, open and honest when chatting, it is also as easy to lie and deceive. I would recommend a online dating service like E-harmony. There is a fee to join, but its worth it because they do some of the scanning for you, and they match you directly with other that are also looking, and that compliment your personality and interests. Its worth a try, I know plenty of people that have met online and ended up happily ever after. Get out there and show 'em whatchya got, girl!
